About the workshop:

This is a complete hands on masterclass by Pastry Chef Sahil, a Le Cordon Bleu,Paris graduate. With the concept of Masterclass, he plans to share his knowledge on one topic at a time, in detail. The first workshop in the series is all about tarts. And it’s completely EGGLESS.

What can you expect from this workshop?

The workshop shall cover french techniques of how to make tart dough, how to line your tart ring and the right way to bake the shells. In accordance with his training, Pastry Chef Sahil has come up with tart recipes that are mature in terms of flavour and could be replicated easily in your kitchen.The tarts that will be taught during this session are : 1. Chocolate Hazelnut 2. Coffee Caramel 3. Pineapple Coconut Each tart will have different textures and multiple elements to give you an experience of true French pastry. There shall also be an extensive discussion on how you can curate your own tart combinations and the points to keep in mind while doing the same. Of the recipes mentioned above, all the recipes will be demonstrated and the candidates get to make Chocolate Hazelnut Tart from the scratch. Thus, you learn much more at the same cost.

About Sahil - Sahil Garg started his journey in baking two years back and conducted a couple of workshops to share his love for baking. He moved to Paris last year to expand his knowledge and gain onto the french pastry techniques. After graduating as a Pastry chef from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, he interned with one of the most sought after chocolatiers Jean Charles Rochoux.
